What will the Trust do?

The way in which the Trust achieves the Charitable Purposes may be as follows:

 

Working with others (including Daisies, but not only Daisies) to provide high quality early education and care services for young children.


Providing support to, or working collaboratively with, other providers of early education and care services for young children, or to individuals or organisations seeking to commence providing early education services.


Providing other services, or supplying goods, that are consistent with supporting the development or provision of high quality early education and care services for young children and/or to improve outcomes for children.


Undertaking analysis or providing thought leadership or advice which aims to influence or enhance innovation and excellence in early childhood education.


Undertaking research into early childhood education.


Publishing documents or other materials which aim to support excellence in early education, or to enhance understanding of high quality early education.


Collaborating with organisations with similar purposes to the Trust.

 

Note also:


The Trust has charitable status CC56530.


At this stage, Daisies itself continues to sit outside the Trust (in Daisies Daycare Ltd) and the buildings are owned by the family trusts of Linda and Anne Meade.  Daisies Daycare Ltd pays income taxes.


The Trust is also the owner of all of the Intellectual Property (IP) developed both by the Trust and by Daisies itself.  Daisies has a free, perpetual (never-ending) right to use this IP.
